Alexis and Mike’s golden hour engagement session in Old City, Philadelphia was effortless, full of charm, and just the right amount of playful—especially with their sweet pup Harper, a one-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

We started the evening at Hotel Monaco where they were staying, then strolled through the cobblestone streets and historic parks nearby. With classic architecture at every turn, Old City was the perfect backdrop for this couple’s story.

Alexis is originally from Colorado, and Mike is a Philly native. The two met in law school over seven years ago and now live in Washington, D.C., where they both work as litigation associates at Kirkland & Ellis. (Yes, power couple vibes all the way!)

Alexis and Mike bring such a grounded, joyful energy to each other—equal parts driven and down-to-earth. Capturing their love was a true honor and I can’t wait to do it again in June 2026 on their wedding day at The Willows in Villanova!
