Nellie & Peter’s wedding day at the historic Hotel Du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware, was a celebration of both love and resilience. Last summer, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate church ceremony after Nellie’s father was diagnosed with cancer. They wanted to ensure he could witness their marriage, and with gratitude, he was not only present then, but able to share in their larger celebration this summer.

The ballroom’s timeless architecture set the scene for a romantic yet relaxed celebration. Soft, lush florals, classic details, and warm candlelight complemented the venue’s old-world charm, while the joy of having family and friends together again filled every moment. From emotional toasts to lively dancing, the day reflected the couples’ style: effortlessly elegant, heartfelt, and full of love.
