Luxurious and Feminine City Wedding at the Historic Ballroom at the Ben

Sarah and Jonathan are one of those couples that has undeniable chemistry: the way they interact is so effortless and fluid that taking photos of them was simply a dream. Sarah’s lilac bridesmaid dresses were the perfect accent to her chic white satin gown and dreamy feminine floral bouquet by Devon and Pinkett. After their first look, they tied the knot on a beautiful late August day at the turn-of-the-century venue, Ballroom at the Ben. This sweet couple had an unplugged ceremony blending two religions with their closest friends and family. The later part of the night was decked out with stunning signage by House of Catherine and lots of dancing was involved!

Peach, ivory, lilac, and toffee with fresh greens and a hint of blue made the perfect palette for this late summer wedding. The white orchids on Sarah’s bouquet were my favorite fluttery accent!

Sarah and Jonathan’s large and jovial bridal party met us for portraits in front of my favorite architectural backdrop in Old City, the Merchants’ Exchange Building.

There were so many gorgeous accents throughout their wedding, including this custom velvet guest book in the perfect shade of lilac. I loved the blind embossed floral crest and silk ribbon tie.

Devon and Pinkett completely transformed the inside of the ballroom into both a ceremony and reception space. Everything was adorned in lush florals that brightened up the interior and made everything feel fresh and luxurious.
